
Toshiba has plans to launch a tablet device at the end of 2010. Though several large electronics companies have been selling their tablets products and Toshiba only follow later.
The rationale provided was to have as early as possible an entry into this field of computing before powerhouses such as Apple dominate the niche with their iPad tablet.
It has proved to be a mistake to underestimate these new categories,” Jeff Barney, Toshiba’s notebook lead said. “And besides, we need new category creation to grow our industry.
We’ll wait the arrival of Toshiba Tablet, is just the same as existing products or have other greatness and seemed too long time to wait until the end of 2010.
