Toshiba Announces Excite X10 Thin And Light Android Tablet at CES 2012
Toshiba just announced the Excite X10 tablet. Its is one of Android tablets that displayed at CES 2012 besides other tablets. This ultra-light and well-equipped device features a premium design. It attracts attention because it has a slim design is only 7.7mm thick and made of magnesium alloy so it is lighter only 0.54kg.
The Excite X10 is also looks great on the hardware side. Tablet bring 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass screen in 1280 × 800 resolution which is supported by dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Features include a 5MP camera on the back and a 2MP front facing camera which supports video chat, 1GB of system memory, micro USB, HDMI port, microSD slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Not yet confirmed whether it will ship with Android 3.2 Honeycomb or Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Excite X10 will be available in two choices of 16GB and 32GB models priced at $ 530 and $ 600 respectively. Likely to be available in the U.S. in the first quarter of this year.
