If you feel you lack the computer skills to support the needs and feel more sluggish than when you first bought it’s good then you replace some computer components with higher specifications. The basic components are usually replaced processor, HardDisk, VGA card, Motherboard, Sound Card and CD ROM.
Motherboards
Perform check on your motherboard if your motherboard support for replacement parts that will be installed as RAM, a slot (PCI, AGP, ISA). Specifically whether the AGP for AGP 1X, 2X or 4X. As for processor upgrades, see also if you motherboard supports the processor you want. If you find that you are already motherboard supports processors that you want the new processor should support the same bus speed with the motherboard.
RAM
Adding memory is very good because it will increase access and computer work significantly. It is felt when you run multiple applications simultaneously in one time, let’s say you’re running windows, you also run other applications such as Corel, Photoshop and much more. Discover the memory you are using SIMMs or DIMM slot? RAM clock also be equal to the motherboard clock to get the maximum work. If one of the lower ram clock the whole RAM will work at a lower clock.
Processor
replace the new processor is a very common way done but there are things to look of the motherboard you have to support a bus speed of the processor. Clock speed from prosessor the sooner the better.
Hardisk
A good processor and RAM that it will increase the large computer work, but in order to work better course required storage capacity large enough. The need for large hard disk capacity caused by the development of software that requires large storage space. For older computers, check whether your BIOS supports and can handle large capacity hard drives.
Monitor.
A good monitor is a must to support high resolution display produced thus will be sharper and look real. Flatscreen monitor can be an option if the funds you enough. Support to also greatly affect the color.
VGA
For gamers graphics card quality greatly affect game performance. Graphics card upgrade is needed when you play games, including a heavy game. All you have to consider is the speed of the graphics card RAMDAC. The faster the RAMDAC, the more smooth the resulting image display. Choose the graphics card with a minimum speed of 250 mhz RAMDAC and do not forget to always update the latest driver graphic card. But for you who just use computers to type the VGA upgrade is not too important.
Port
For today’s computer port that is provided is usually sufficient, but for the old generation computers may have ports that are not complete, so you need to add additional ports. You can add the add-in card into the motherboard, but must in check if your motherboard supports it or not to add port.
