The Iomega Desktop Hard Drive 500GB provides an economical solution for even the greatest storage needs. The 500GB storage capacity allows you to save up to 2,000,000 photos, 9,250 hours of music, or 750 hours of video. The drive uses a USB 2.0 connection which is compatible with virtually all computers today and boasts transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps. The drive runs at 7200 RPM and has up to an 8 MB cache buffer for speedy performance.
The drive is compatible with both PCs and Macs. It is FAT32 preformatted so PC users can just plug it in and start using it. The Iomega 500GB External Hard Drive is backed by a 1-year warranty.
