Buffalo claims up to 30% speed boosts on USB 3.0 transfers and a whopping 70% increase on USB 2.0 transfers. Cobalt MiniStation Portable Drive are available in 500 GB (HD-PE500U3/BK) and 640 GB (HD-PE640U3/BK) sizes. Included with the Cobalt is Buffalo Tools, a feature-rich suite of PC performance enhancement tools. With Buffalo Tools, users can boost transfer performance by an additional 26% using TurboPC, conserve energy and battery consumption by utilizing ECO Manager and back up PCs with the easy to use Buffalo’s Backup Utility.
